S2 Corporation is located in beautiful
Bozeman, Montana,
a town with
many attributes, including an active downtown, fine dining, museums,
art galleries, and Montana State University and its university town
atmosphere. Bozeman’s proximity to mountains and
rivers make skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and floating popular
activities.
At an altitude of 5,000 feet this is an area that is world renowned for
offering a wide range of outdoor recreational activities. In
near proximity are three major ski resorts:
Big Sky,
Moonlight Basin,
and
Bridger Bowl
that offer a variety of terrain to ski and snowboard.
Yellowstone National Park
is less than 90-miles from Bozeman, which is the center piece of the
national park system, and an area of exceptional beauty highlighting
vast amounts of wildlife and geothermal features. This makes
it a popular tourist location, and several other scenic and wilderness
areas are nearby and accessible. Also, surrounding the valley
is a variety of national forests excellent for hiking, mountain biking,
backpacking, rafting, and camping.
Several world class fishing rivers flow nearby Bozeman, including the
Yellowstone, Gallatin, Madison, Big Hole, Ruby and Big Horn Rivers,
with opportunities to catch trophy Rainbows, Brown and Cutthroat

At the center of Bozeman lies
Montana State University
a school nationally recognized for excellence in undergraduate and
graduate programs in engineering, liberal arts, nursing and many
others. MSU has been named a “best-buy”
for undergraduate education by U.S. News and World Report.
The university produces several national student and teaching award
winners. MSU’s
Museum of the Rockies,
located about a quarter mile from S2 Corporation, features one of the
most outstanding paleontology collection in the world and is home to
the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex skull ever discovered.
S2 Corporation maintains close ties to MSU, and its
Research, Creativity & Technology Transfer Office.
Also, to the
MSU Spectrum Laboratory
and the
MSU Physics Department,
which each have active research and development efforts in S2
technology. In fact, many of the initial enabling efforts
were performed at MSU, and some of these Intellectual Properties have
been licensed
by S2 Corporation. We also maintain relationships with the
MSU Electrical and Computer
Engineering Department, and the
MSU
Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department,
which produce
excellent graduates with skills of interest to S2 Corporation.
