S2 Corporation has received funding for the second year on its R&D program from the Office of Naval Research. The grant was awarded in response to proposal titled “Exploiting Non Traditional Signals Using a Photonics Based Signal Processor”. S2 is a subcontractor to the lead, Montana State University on this effort. The research and development efforts of the contract aim to prove the feasibility and demonstrate the performance capabilities of a disruptive and revolutionary photonics based signal processing technology for insertion into next generation electronic warfare system.
