S2 Corporation is located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana, a town with many attributes, including an active downtown, fine dining, museums, art galleries, and Montana State University and its university town atmosphere.  Bozeman’s close proximity to mountains and rivers make activities like skiing, hiking, biking, AND fishing very popular.

At an altitude of 5,000 feet this is an area that is world renowned for offering a wide range of outdoor recreational activities.  In near proximity are three major ski resorts: Big Sky, Moonlight Basin, and Bridger Bowl that offer a variety of terrain to ski and snowboard.

Yellowstone National Park is less than 90-miles from Bozeman, which is the center piece of the national park system, and an area of exceptional beauty highlighting vast amounts of wildlife and geothermal features.  This makes it a popular tourist location, and several other scenic and wilderness areas are nearby and accessible. Also surrounding the valley is a variety of national forests excellent for hiking, mountain biking, backpacking, rafting, and camping.

Several world class fishing rivers flow nearby Bozeman including the Yellowstone, Gallatin, Madison, Big Hole, Ruby and Big Horn Rivers, with opportunities to catch trophy Rainbows, Brown and Cutthroat trout.  Local experts include The River’s Edge, The Bozeman Angler, and Troutfitters.

At the center of Bozeman lies Montana State University, a school nationally recognized for excellence in undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering, liberal arts, nursing and many others.  MSU has been named a “best-buy” for undergraduate education by U.S. News and World Report.  The university produces several national student and teaching award winners.  Just next door to S2 Corporation, MSU’S MUSEUM OF THE ROCKIES features one of the most outstanding paleontology collection in the world and is home to the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex skull ever discovered.

S2 Corporation maintains close ties to MSU and its Research, Creativity & Technology Transfer Office, as well as to the MSU Spectrum Laboratory and the MSU Physics Department, BOTH OF WHICH have active research and development efforts in S2 technology.  In fact, many of the initial enabling efforts were performed at MSU, and some of these Intellectual Properties have been licensed by S2 Corporation.  We also maintain relationships with the MSU Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and the MSU Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, which produce excellent graduates with skills of interest to S2 Corporation.

With such a seemingly endless list of attractions to Bozeman and Montana as a whole it is without question the “Last Best Place.”
